Kalinga University conducts Virtual HR Conclave: Next generation skill set for Dynamic workplace

Kalinga University regularly connects with corporate, government, alumni, researchers, policymakers and the local community by reaching out proactively through global forums. Kalinga hosts its own HR conclave which prepares a platform for young professionals to examine the most recent trends in the HR /People Management discipline and thus helping organisations to stay abreast and engaging their talent through the help of technology. Taking this forward, Faculty of Commerce & Management, Kalinga University with collaboration with the Training and Placement Cell, Kalinga University conducted the HR conclave for students of Commerce and Management. The University is committed to developing the students with knowledge base for a vibrant and inclusive society. The University encourages its students to upgrade skills for influential workplace.

In order to achieve this, the University has established “Industry Institute Interaction Cell”. This cell conducts webinars/panel discussion were by are invited calls different eminent speakers to enrich the students with knowledge and skills.

 

Renowned speaker Dr. Parul Parmar from VNR Seeds, Dr. Nishant Saxena from ANM Strategic & Management Consultants, Mr. Sudheer Kumar from Vedanta Group and Dr. Dilip Mohanty from NECO Jaiswal Group enlightened the students with their views in the event. They taught the students about the disruptive technical skills, specialized industry skills and core business skills. They also made them learn about how to develop capabilities that can set them up for success in 2021 and beyond.

In the event, students activity participated in the workshop and found it very valuable and illuminating.

The Event Coordinator Mrs. Anushree Shrivastava, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Ruchi Gupta, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce & Management Convened the event.

The Workshop was also conducted under the guidance of Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management Dr. Monika Sethi Sharma and the other faculty members of the Department of Commerce & Management also participated.
